At NCFC, we know parents have a lot of choices in the soccer marketplace. In our humble opinion, we believe our club offers the best soccer experience for the families of North Caldwell with both the traditional town based travel club experience, as well as a track for higher performing players to also play in a higher level environment where the parents decide that is right for their soccer star. If you have any questions after reviewing the below, shoot us an email at
[email protected]
and leave your cell phone. We will reach out to you.
NCFC Training:
Our club is a federally recognized non-profit organization, operated by volunteer parents in North Caldwell with all revenue going towards soccer for the kids.
Our TRAINERS are professionally licensed employees with SNK based in Fairfield, New Jersey (
https://www.sticksnkicks.com/
). SNK is owned and operated by Rob Grosso, Head Coach of the West Essex High School Varsity Boys Soccer program and who is a our professional soccer training and program advisor.
Our travel clubs practice twice a week in each of the fall and spring seasons. All training sessions are conducted by professional trainers who also serve as the head coach of each of our teams.
MCYSA League
Each season, our teams are registered in the Morris County Youth Soccer Association league (
MCYSA
). This league is a travel league within the
New Jersey Youth Soccer governing body
.
The MCYSA flights its league (flight 1 being the highest) each season and our club determines each team's flighting each season based up the team talent and other factors. Our first team (white team) is generally flighted in the highest flights with our second team (blue team) generally flighted lower. Each match weekend, any NCFC primary rostered player is eligible to play with his or her team, as well as to "guest pass" on any other team within the club at the child's age group or above (playing up).
EDP League
For those players who have demonstrated more serious dedication and talent than the average travel player, we encourage parents to sign their child up to be evaluated by SNK for eligibility to play on the SNK Academy team, in addition to NCFC. The SNK Academy team plays in the EDP League, also a member league within the New Jersey Youth Soccer association. This league is generally recognized as a higher level of competition and intensity that may be right for certain players and families. NCFC works with SNK to coordinate practice and match schedules so as to avoid any match and practice conflicts.
